Sleepyface

Why am I so tired? It amazes me how your brain reacts to lack of sleep. I've been getting worse and worse all week. I can see how wars can start and pets get kicked. There's just something about being tired that wears you out. Everything is irritating, from the sound of the bank teller's voice to the way my car starts in the morning. At least I can see that it's just being tired that is affecting me, but it's affecting everything. I think that when I'm done typing this...I'm just gonna...zzzzzzz....

Not Freezing...Just Frozen

I don't understand why it's become commonplace to accept the weather as it is, like accepting an unruly vacuume cleaner salesman into your home for "free" gifts. For the most part, weather sucks. It's too cold, or too hot, or too humid. Hurricanes and tornados are not feats to marvel at, they're in everything and it's about time to train it, or hire a better babysitter than The Weather Channel. Why don't we just put a dome over America. We can open the shutters to let light in on sunny days and close it when the weather is too much to bear. Perhaps there is a "weather bomb" we could develop that could shoot into a hurricane, lowering the temperature, raising the barometric pressure, whatever, to turn this HUGE storm, into a fancy afternoon shower, with possible rainbows. Until then, I'll have to keep changing my wiper blades and smoking in the garage.

Just Drive

Why is driving so difficult? It seems as though you should just hit the road and cruise. But you just slow down and speed up and get cut off and pretty soon you're honking and fingering and missing your exit...

What happened to passing on the left? If you're young, you're dumb and dangerous, and if you're old, your dumb and dangerous, and if you're neither, you're on your phone and dangerous...oops, phone's ringing, gotta get going.

Drunk?!

How is it we have become so sick and twisted that we can't begin to understand and compromise with everyone else. Is there really so much to worry about? I think that love can save anything...I'm sorry, I meant everything. And I think that that can be applied to so many areas of your life. Without the love of something, you begin to doubt the love of yourself. You may even begin to forget what love is. I think that love is something we should have for breakfast every morning, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. Whenever, wherever. If this doesn't make sense, read it again.

Question

Why do firemen smoke? Why do they keep tennis balls in Pringles containers?
